1. Scope
The operator of this service is [PLACEHOLDER: Operator as stated in the legal notice]. These Terms of Service apply to the use of the platform seasonizer.com and all associated services.
2. Description of service
Seasonizer is an invitation-based platform for managing recipes, meal planning and shopping lists. The platform is in beta. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee it. Features and scope of the service may change at any time.
3. User account
Access is by invitation only. You agree to provide truthful information when registering, to keep your password confidential, not to transfer your account to other persons, and not to operate more than one account.
4. User-generated content
You retain all rights to your recipes and images. By uploading content, you grant the operator a simple, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce and make the content publicly accessible within the platform for the purpose of operating the service. For published recipes, this licence continues after account deletion — in anonymised form ("Deleted User"). If you wish to avoid this, deactivate or delete your recipes before deleting your account.
5. Prohibited use
It is prohibited to post unlawful content, to infringe third-party rights (including recipe texts or photos belonging to others without the appropriate rights), to send spam or automated scraping requests, and to disrupt the operation of the service.
6. Availability and changes to the service
As Seasonizer is in beta, features may be added, changed or removed. We will announce any discontinuation of the service with reasonable notice.
7. Account deletion
You may delete your account at any time via your account settings. The operator may terminate an account in the event of a serious breach of these terms, following reasonable prior notice. Published recipes will be retained anonymously after deletion.
8. Liability
We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence and for damages arising from injury to life, body or health. The same applies to claims under the German Product Liability Act. In cases of simple negligence, we are only liable for breach of material contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damage. Any further liability is excluded. As the service is provided free of charge, the limitation of liability for simple negligence is to be taken into account accordingly.
9. Changes to these terms
We will announce changes to these Terms of Service by email or at the next login with reasonable notice. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance. You have the right to delete your account if you do not wish to accept the amended terms.
10. Miscellaneous
German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions remain unaffected. Should any provision be invalid, the remainder of the agreement shall remain unaffected.
